01. Simon & Shaker - Make It (Dub)
02. Marcos - Just For A Day (Marc van Linden Remix)
03. ID
04. CJ Stone - Shine (Heart Of Stone Mix) (PvD Edit)
05. Re:Locate - Typhoon (PvD Edit)

07. ID
08. Jonesey - Independance (Stadium Mix) (PvD Edit)
09. Dick van Nille - Outside

11. Paul van Dyk - For An Angel (Marc van Linden Remix)
12. Paul van Dyk feat Vega 4 - Time Of Our Lives (UK Club Mix)

:conf:
I think the reworks are only edits because they havn't the typical PvD-basekick and are really close to the originals (I bought and played 'em often). E.g., he only edits the baseline in track 4 because it's intro-baseline is too short for a good transition or sometimes he cuts elements or vovals.

Your playlist is wrong, it should be

01. Alter Ego - Rocker
02. Simon & Shaker - Make It (Dub)
03. Marcos - Just For A Day (Marc van Linden Remix)
04. ID (will be released on VANDIT - probably new Nu Nrg Track)
05. CJ Stone - Shine (Heart Of Stone Mix) [PvD Rework]
06. Re:Locate - Typhoon [PvD Rework]
07. Paul van Dyk - The Other Side
08. ID
09. Jonesey - Independance (Stadium Mix) [PvD Rework]

13. Paul van Dyk feat Vega 4 - Time Of Our Lives

on your basskick thing: he definately changed the bassdrum on typhoon, you can clearly hear that.
as for TOOL: it's not the uk club mix, it seems the he played some reworked version (probably he reworked it live), since it has elements of the pvd club mix, the uk club and some things both don't have

Sorry mate but listen carefully to it!
He definately played the UK Club Mix with the solo gitar riffs and it has the ealier vocals after the first break too. For you I compared it playing my vinyl syncron to it. Except the loop at the beginning and the turbine-sound he added - which you can hear at the end of the set clearly. He's always modulating and filtering since he spins with final scratch.
With "Typhoon" u could be right, but "Shine (Heart Of Stone Mix)" is only an edit. He only duplicated the baseline at the beginning, so he can mix it more accurately. It's really too short on the original.
And on "Independacne" I would say there is nothing different compared with the Stadium Mix. For me a rework is an unreleased rmx, more different to the original than an edit, where small elements, parts, vocals etc. are missing or modulated.

Shine is definitely a PvD Rework. If you have heard it live you can so obviously tell the entire kick has been replaced with PvD's. Heart of Stone have the most appaulingly cheap bass and kicks known to man. It is definitely a rework. I am not changing the tracklist for these reworks, it's quite clear they are all his kicks.

And yes it is obviously the uk club mix of tool, this is a bit of a silly debate. All he did was loop the guitar section before it kicks in. This does not make it a live edit

What is the point in speculating things like this? This is how rumours start.

um, well, u might want to check out the "PVD & Tiesto @ DMA - Hanover 13-03-05" Thread, where i posted this "speculation"

i wrote an email to the pvd office considering this track (i send them a sample, so there is definately no mixup ;-) and got the following answer:

I wish I could tell you.. :-S

speculation enough? ;)

about it being nu nrg, that's just my thought, there are just elements in the track that remind me of nu nrg...

Yes I already saw your post in the other thread. That email so suggests that it's a Nu-NRG production doesn't it. I stand by my original comment. Good grief.
