I dont even use Soda- I actually ask by name what I want.
I would use Pop or Soda- but then I would be generalizing about a group of "drinks" and would be called racist.

Soda (West Coast)
Pop (East Coast)... well at least Midwest
Also, what about this:
Washroom or Bathroom?
Even though I call it both, my cousin in Vegas makes fun of me if I call it a washroom. What's with you westerners? |

Yea- I'd probably make fun of you too
It's Bathroom- TECHNICALLY- You do a lot more of something
than either of those- Everyone should just call it "the ter"
