Ok guyz and gals here it is in a nutshell.
I'm have a problem hearing my audio. the only catch is when using winamp I can hear it perfectly, but when using ANY other program like cooledit, nero wav editor i cant hear shi*t.. Even when booting up or booting down i do not get any sound. Any ideas???

Some sound cards have different output states, check your system/properties and make sure all the drivers are correct and that there are no conflicts, find which DMA Channel winamp is using, if you dont know what soundcard it is let me know, there is a way you can find the serial code from the registry and microsoft have a huge database you can match too.
