Everyone seems to ask this.
This thread pops up every couple of weeks.

Let's try & put together a "definitive" guide of online stores & just redirect people to that thread.

My personal fave is http://www.juno.co.uk They have great prices and fair shipping costs as long as you buy in bulk.

The second fave is http://www.planetxusa.com they have a great selection, and as long as you are willing to become a dedicated customer of theirs, they will always take good care of you.

The third fave would be http://www.htfr.co.uk they are expensive, as someone pointed out, but have a good selection and can get(as their name suggests) some "hard to find records."
Happy shopping,
Kev
sot

Ok, all of the places mentioned here so far are pretty good, IF you like waiting a long time to get your vinyl. I haven't had any thrilling experiences with any of those and I personally wouldn't shop there unless I could go there in person.

So here's a couple that I recommmend, that ship either the next day or within 24 hours and have real time inventory. So that way if it isn't in stock, you dont find out until 5 days later.

Groovetech, www.groovetech.com - usually ships by 9am on weekdays if you're in the USA, record selection is great and very affordable

Replay Records, www.replayrecords.com - best resource to find rare and out of print vinyl at a decent price. ships within 24 hours and arrives within a week if you live in the USA.

try www.vinylnews.ch, records are cheap (under 7$) but if youre located in the USA, you'll pay the travel :P

I would like to thank you for this very valuable information.
As someone living in the US I certainly don't want to deal with overseas retailers, in terms of both time and money. (I'm thinking of becoming a DJ.)

However, are you saying replayrecords.com is American? Then why are the prices listed as e.g. J6.00? As for groovtech.com -- I tried searching for the artist "Armin"; one would think there would be lots of results, and there were NONE.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for the info but I have yet to find an online store that has the 6 or 7 well-known songs that I'd like to have in vinyl. Example: Armin - Communication, Moni B. - Stripped, Sisko - Light over Me.

groovetech obviously does not seem like the best one....they do have some alright records.....but the other sites that were listen I found had alot more, www.hrtf.com has quite a selection, true those are in the US, im in Canada i'd prefer that as well, but what can u do!
