I don't use Kazaa, but I suspect that I've gotten this virus, since a few days ago a few of my mp3 files suddenly lost their tags and then returned. I've not seen any data loss as of yet (all my mp3s are on a different hard disk than my system files), but how do I remove the virus itself?
edit: Fack, it's april 1st today. It's probably too late :( |

this is brutal.. if it spreads a ton of mixes will get corrupt and those will spread around and there will be bad versions of stuff for years going around.

Hey wait a minute...why are there no removal instructions on that link Swampy posted? Why does a Norton and a Google search yield nothing? And why is that virus alert hosted on tranceaddict.com? And hrhr.com, omghi2u.com, don'tsendtheletter.com? I smell April Fools. Either that or some TA lurker made this virus.
Regardless, had me going for a while there :o |
