and he will become worlds best midfielder in maybe one or two seasons.

oh please, he's no where near the worlds best and never will be. he just doesn't have the skill to hold that crown.:rolleyes:
If he is so good then why is he still playing for a second rate english team.

Cant believe ure saying gerrard is the best midfielder in the premiership..! maybe one of the best for england..
pires is without doubt the best in the premiership, hes got most no. goals this season, many assists and basically without him arsenal wouldnt have gone so many games undefeated..
most underated midfielder in the premiership has to be muzzy izzet...

Best foreign midfielder in Premiership has to be Viera.
Best English midfielder in Premiership is probably Lampard, Gerard is good but is simply not great! |

Best foreigner in the premier league would have to be Robert Pires!
He es all over Viera....Viera has physical prescence, but he is not in the same league as Pires. Pires has 11 goals for the season, and probably about the same number of assists. I don't think Viera comes close to that.
Best Local would have to be Frank Lampard. Lampard is just so consistent, he dominates other teams, he changes matches, and he has way more skills than Gerrard. I think Gerrard is a great player, and Liverpool is my team, but Lampard wins hands down. |

| i agree on those midfielders being best in the country but how the hell can you say jay jay is most underated you have prolly never seen him play all you would have heard is how he plays i admit hes not a patch on last season but he still is quality |
