i'd say new news. I haven't seen it posted yet, and you beat me to it.
I dropped in today and of the 2 partnered owners who took it over, one of them used to work under Paul, so yea.
As for the new owner... I spoke to him today... nice guy, spins drum&bass, heads up a drum&bass label and definitely has better outlooks for the place than Paul did. He sounds like he's gonna make it a very nice and reputable record store. Don't get me wrong, Paul ran a very decent record shop, but I'm hoping this new ownership will shape out well.
For any1 who's interested and able to ge there.... all vinyl singles are on sale $4.99 each, doubles are more, and CDs are 50% off. They're trying to clear out the place b4 the new shipment comes in , which he boasts will be great.
