I don't feel like doing a whole review, but i will say this, circus it's an amazing looking club. adam jay delivered a solid set and it's a shame he could not play in primetime. but as creator told me he had to be in the u.s. at noon. anyway thank you very much for the guestlist, we had fun :)
whoa, i was impressed by the club. and other than feeling like i was on the airport at the entrance, where they give you a small box to empty your pockets. it was all good. lots and lots for girls  |

Werd.. I enjoyed his set.. I'd definitely check him out again, hopefully will be a live pa though. :D
That was also my first time at Circus and I was pretty impressed with the place. The hip hop room looks pretty sweet too. Sound was better than I expected.

Yes, Adam Jay was very impressive behind the decks. While coming back from the airport I said to him "Damn! Totally forgot to tell you it's a mixer with knobs!"... was afraid he would pull a Lawler on me.
"Great! I have lots of fun with those".... fiou!
The guy is 23 years old, already known for his productions and live since 3 years, and not afraid of a mixer. He played more funky and felt we haven't seen 50% of what he can do, the timeslot and all....
I already told him he will be back with a live set, and the opportunity to play in the peak. If it's not at Circus, it will be at Ravemontreal. ;-) |

i enjoyed my passage @ Circus, Adam Jay played some nice ghetto techno like Preach told me there....
the place is nice, looks great, but i prefer darker rooms, with higher roof! anyways, the sound is great, imo this place as a great future, but it really has to change the dj booth...its stuck in the right corner, and the emphasis is not on the dj....appart this thing i liked it....havent been in the hip hop
had some fun there with usual peeps, nice to meet u Kate:D |
