so, is anyone into mixed martial arts competitions? I watch a lot and i've trained some here at City Boxing in San Diego. They train all types of kickboxing, submission grappling, martial arts and regular old boxing. How about any Pankration competitors?

Definitely a fan of MMA. I mostly follow PRIDE and UFC. I like the UFC product and I think they try to give you the most exciting fights they can. Especially like Tito v. Chuck at the last PPV. Tito was stupid for trying to stand up with him especially when he knew his grappling ability was far more superior than Chuck's.

I like PRIDE but some over their match-ups seem so one sided. I hate seeing Sakaraba get fights against 25 to 40 pounds bigger than him. I also don't care for the integration of professional wrestlers on their shows. These guys are never up to par with real MMA fighters. If I want to see Yuji Nagata or Kendo Ka Shin, I'll go get a tape of New Japan Pro Wrestling. I love pro wrestling and I understand these guys they use are big money draws in Japan, but I feel the use of pro wrestlers hurts the integrity of the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.

I've heard of K-1 just because of their negotiations with Mike Tyson to come in. If that were to happen, I would be the first one to order that PPV. I would love to see Tyson get KO'd by a roundhouse kick.

That's my two cents.
