How Can I trust in Sellers??

Hi.. Well this isnt it a Want to buy/For Sale Thread...
Isnt there a Way to ppl here get points or so when they Sells an item??.. I have traded here several times.. .. and I never been ripped of at all.. but i always have to trust just in the Seller Word... and i have the felling that when i sell or trade an item the other person have the same feeling..
what is Referals at the profile?... is that soemthing of this?..
I just dont know...
Well.. there are always ppl that wants to rip off other people, so is better Prevent that Lament...
any info or suggestion... for now I just see his TA status and the times have posted to have an idea of him/her.

I've bought from several different people too and have never been ripped off. Some guys sell stuff often, so you know you can trust them if you've bought from them before and what not. You can always put in a positive recommendation and bump up a thread too.
But yeah, that's why I'd prefer to go through ebay. |

First time I brought something from here I was ripped off from a mofo that didn't send me what I payed for on paypal
but I've still manage to trust ppl and try it again........
Looking at their status and see if they have a positive feedback in the thread are often useful for me
btw..........referals are only for ppl who referal ppl to sign up on TA.....nothing related to buying or selling on TA ;) |

| will be very helpful if in the Profile.. will be somthing like Points that seller/buyers get when do a transition.. and if u can put a bad comment if the user rip of you... so.. an Seller will think it more about to rip someone |

another Idea.. could be Making a sticky Thread with the Peoples name that rips other people... so other buyers wont do the same...
Any suggestions? |

I have only been on TA for 6 months now but have done about 5 or 6 deals through this forum, done a couple of swaps and payed with Paypal with no hicups yet!!!
I always like to pay extra for insured delivery with tracking number/proof of posting, not that i don't trust who i am buying from, it's just safer if the worst happens and the record gets damaged or lost, for both parties!!! it's a good idea to cover your arse, buying or selling!!!
We should have a thread where if anyone has any problems with fellow TA's we should name and shame them, and if someone is selling some vinyl and you have bought from them reply to their thread saying they are cool, kind of like leaving them feedback!!! 99.9% of people are all sound but there is always going to be that 0.1% who want to rip people of :( |
