Walking back to the LCBO from Rank 1 in a happy sober for once glow all I was thinking was putting my new 247 cd I got. Not friggin happening. All I saw was cables (reminscent of the last two times), and my deck was gone. Too tired to fret I just shook my head and proceeded to start my car. Then around spadina and king I glanced back at the back seat and I remembered...gym bag. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!! Screaming in a rage, I ultimately was mad at myself for not dropping off the overnight bag like I was supposed to do at Laura's...but cuz I was in a rush to make the 12 cut off I forgot to drop off the bag and the tub of protein supplement which they also took.( ya Mike I need another)
Guys this gym bag had pure nothing to these thieves and gold to me! Lots of fave clothes...fave top, fave t, fave jeans the ones that are sorta broken in so nicely they're irreplaceable.....not to mention some we're bday gifts....but my tioletries? mach 3, deoderant, my fave toothbrush!, too many little valuables to list. I know this sounds crazy to bitch out about materials....but now I don't have the money to replace all this. Bad ing time I say.
Its the second time I've gotten broken into at guvy and third time in general....all we're car audio related but this time they took my comfortable clothes AND NOW ITS PERSONAL. SO ITS WAR! I DECLARE JIHAD ON THESE FOOLS! |

Sorry to hear about this man ... same happen to me at Theory. You gotta becarefull where you park in that area. This has happen to many ppl over the years at the same lot.
The night of my break in ... they jacked 5 cars also. They took my friend's deck, amp and bassbins. |

No I did not. I lately made a lazy stupid habit by leaving it, I figured that a low end Pioneer isnt on high demand and plus I rushed out without thinking. Duh. Figured I would have learned from the last two times, last time was a very high end panasonic (eight bills and they found the hiding face)
buh bye decks....... mid range Clarion , Panasonic, and now Pioneer.
in two....almost three years.
the first one was the worst.....the whole system. |

Edit: LCBO parking sucks.
When i arrived at 2 am, i saw 2 suspiscious guys standing in the entrance way of the store. After that site, i left that parking lot. It wasnt worth it. |

Friend of mine got robbed 3 weeks ago after ferry...
has prompted some of my buddies to start parking in the paid parking in front of guv from now on.... |

yea i always park directly across the street when I go to guv and nothing has ever happened to me or my veecs in all of the years ive been going there. that seems to be the best safeguard against your car getting broken into IMO

| aw frankie, that's horrible! at wemf 2000 i had my tent stolen...seriously, they only took the tent. thankfully the dumped out my bag that contained my fave sweatshirt and my blankie and my cd's...i would have never recovered if any of these articles were missing. so sorry to hear that they took your things, if you're missing any cd's i can burn you a bunch more in attempt to compensate. |

I will never put a high end sysetm into a car...never. It's pointless, IMHO. You're putting in an amp so that everyone else can enjoy your music? screw that. Most factory or low end decks and speakers are good enough for me. Then again, I'm a performance freak...I'd use the audio funds for performance parts ;)
suggestion...although a pain in the ass...it may be worthwhile. If you're not going to park in the paid lot across from Guv, maybe park a little ways away, like up on Front street, or in a paid lot where there's an attendant. It's not a safety guarantee, but it's an additional deterrant. People hit the cars around Guv, probabaly because they know no one will be coming out for several hours, and because there are probably a lot of "audiophiles" going to clubs that will have good systems in their cars. Just park further away and walk to Guv or jump in a cab (it would be less than $5 from a few blocks away). |

NEVER leave bags in ur car! that's like a burglary just waiting to happen.. when thieves see a bag in ur car it just gives them all the more reason to bust in there. if u have to carry bags try to atleast place them in ur trunk or drop them off elsewhere like you said..
really sorry to hear about this Frank, given the fact that JOhn's deck was jacked in that SAME parking lot not more than a month ago. I'm telling u guys, if u wanna catch these mofos.. you gotta plan a stakeout. Park a car in that lot during the night of a big event. Strategically place bait in ur ride to attract the thief. then around 1am or so when they bust in there, ur lying in ur backseat with a blanket over top only to emerge with ur 12 gauge and BAM! :whip:
