Tampa, Mtl, Philly, Ott, Det, San Jose, Calgary and Dallas are going on to the 2nd round |

Det over Nsh in 5 (won't happen)
SJ over St.L in 6 (I was close)
Van over Cal in 6 (not gonna happen now)
Dal over Col in 6 (Looks like I was way off here)
TB over NYI in 5 (Could happen tonight but it's 1-0 NYI)
Mon over Bos in 7 (Looks possible, Theodore is on his game)
Phi over NJ in 6 (No Scott Stevens, no chance NJ)
Ott over Tor in 7 (Was hoping for Ott in 4 but I knew better :p) |

As of now:
Good Picks: Det (No brainer), SJ (StL had no Jackman or Macinnis), TB (No brainer), Phi (Felt right)
Still have a chance: Ott (Nice win tonight), Van (I watched every second, what a wicked game, definitely the best series so far), Mon (Boston looks so out of it)
Bad Picks: Dal (Verrrrrry bad pick)
So 4 points, but you'll just have to take my word for it. |

I feel that the teams are all pretty evenly matched in this first round so most of the series should go a distance. |
Final score for me: 7, but I did manage to call the number of games in the Mtl and Cal series' though :) and a game off on a couple others. Bring on round 2!
BTW, I think it's easier to start a new thread rather than continun round 2 in here, what do you think? I'll start it and if it doesn't go well, I'll delete it. |
