| Is there a difference noticable if you do an audio mixdown with an audigy 2 and an audio mixdown with a M-Audio Audiophile? :conf: |

I had previously checked that thread.;) It seemed that the creative cards do a bad job at recording WAV's. Some hiss was noticable ( but that can be removed with autogate or noicegate ).
This may sound like a really stupid question, but does recording WAV files include audio mixdown? |

| hey cheggy |
| You do not want to have to rely on a DeEsser every time you record something, that's just plain stupid. As far as I know, when you export your track as a wave file, all audio is done internally so no, recording wavs does not include the audio mixdown. |

Creative cards are good if you don't use them mainly for music making but as a more of an all-around card. |
