Is there a difference noticable if you do an audio mixdown with an audigy 2 and an audio mixdown with a M-Audio Audiophile? :conf:

I had previously checked that thread.;) It seemed that the creative cards do a bad job at recording WAV's. Some hiss was noticable ( but that can be removed with autogate or noicegate ).

This may sound like a really stupid question, but does recording WAV files include audio mixdown?
hey cheggy
You do not want to have to rely on a DeEsser every time you record something, that's just plain stupid. As far as I know, when you export your track as a wave file, all audio is done internally so no, recording wavs does not include the audio mixdown.

Creative cards are good if you don't use them mainly for music making but as a more of an all-around card.
