Well I live in Mexico and I would like to be a big DJ. I think Mexico is not a good place for that. So where is the place in which a person can become a big dj. |

here's what you need..
money
mad networking skills
talent
looks
production skills
Well first off you need money to start off, buy some turntables, lotsa vinyl etc... Money will also help you impress people (club owners, promoters, record store owners), brining them out for drinks, food, hence developping your networking skills. Talent, you need some kind of talent to spin music, although if you have enough coin you can just buy all the popular tracks and just fade in and out of them as you wish. Looks, luckly for many DJs they dont have them, but if your a girl that will do more for you than you can imagine (sandra collins, misstress barbara, maus (from montreal).. honnestly name a female DJ that is as ugly as say Timo Maas or Danny Tenaglia. Production skills also help out (re. max graham, who also has the looks and networking and talent), but you need lotsa money to invest in a studio (because if you think 1200s are expensive you have anothing thing comming)
.. so the moral of the story is, unless you suck alot of dick, or that you have natural talent and networking skills, you wont make it anywhere.
