MP3 Player Recommendations?

Recommend a good MP3 player to use out on the trail exercising.
Gots to have easy MP3 transfer and some earblasting volume with the earbuds. Am eyeballing them hard and $150 or more to just make me happy is chump change.
Other than that, don't need much more unless it can tell me the time of day. Don't need nor want local FM stations which don't play anything I like.
Thanks addicts,

Thanks, but brand name and proven performance from an owner is what I'm looking for. Hum it to yourself? Get real, pal.

I have an iRiiver imp350; it's a cd/mp3 player. It's very good, but after owning it for a while, I'd have to opt for one with a hard drive or something. Check out iRiver's website, they have some sweet players. Another good thing about the irivers are that they have upgradeable firmware, so unless you really care about how old your player looks, you can always upgrade your . They recently released an upgrade that allows your player to play oggs, so I think they also play most formats.

if weight is an issue, than get the iPod mini... but if your looking for volume and sweet quality... go with a 40 gb iPod man.
its the way to go.
its kind of expensive... but you can cram all your trance mixes and albums on, and dont have to deal with cd skipping. |

You've never had a Sony Walkman that restricts volume because "it may impair hearing." Bugs me to death. I want sound and can handle my own hearing loss.
Lol!
