avalon killing crobar

| I have yet been to crobar with the exception of digweed and lawler it seems avalon is grabbing all the talent..I used to frequent the limelight alot in the early and mid 90"s and must say they did a great job remodeling it has a totally different feel it is nowhere as creepy and decadent...what i enjoy best about avalon is the vibe seems to really attract a music crowd the nights ive gone is picotto,judge jules,cox,ferry,dinair and few other times ...my questin is whats it like over at crobar? how is the crowd? vibe? and are they going to start booking some djs other than lawler why not bring up edgar v he is resident in fla crobar like vic calderone he should do quarterlys or some it seems like there just wasting away or maybe there content with vic and lawler???? |

| yeah i find it strange toO...cuz crobar is definitely a much BETTER venue...i just hope they are able to get those djs eventually |

yeah timo mass lawler sasha and digweed.. sander k ... what the is crobar thinking? ...... Id much rather see jules and that sandstorm guy.... the only good talent lined up for avalon is seaman and phil k.... well hyper was good aswell... |

avalon with a musical crowd? whoa... I haven't experienced that yet... The crowd at Hyper was horrible... fat, horny 35 year old men trying to feel up young girls bouncing to the breaks... I love it when I'm dancing and some guido comes up right next to me to stare at some girls... oooh.. then he busts out the fist pump dance... delicious...
then again, i think that kind of crowd is a whole new york city phenomenon so I doubt crobar would have a different crowd... :( |

| ting hell,,,,ive bin ere two months and ive seen,,,,sasha digweed lawler and timo @ crobar.....what more do you want my son.............the crobar pisses all over avalon from a great height as far as lineups are concerned........the only half decent d j in my opinion in the last 2 months is ferry.......thats it,,,ing ferry......and im sure all he did was play a judge jules mix cd from 99............. |

i give it to them for bringin in digweed and lawler if you read my thread i forgot about timo...but picotto wrecked that place in jan. jules was good night as well as cox, ferry, also you had tall paul dave palph, junkie xl coming marco coming i dont know its a bigger selection...i guess when arc closes we"ll see where joof,dt,dh,liebing and those guys end up. and avalon does 2 nights why only one night at crobar? |

| crobar does do two nights... i think scumfrog's a resident at crobar now too... i wish more talent played at crobar, definitely one of the best venues in the city... the crowd for SD was definitely up for the music. u will never find that at avalon :( |
