Ghosts of Rwanda is one of the best and most powerful documentaries i have ever seen. I grabbed the movie as i heard it was phenominal; after having seen it, it's more than just phenominal. It seemed to have no bias to anyone. It shows the perspective of "murderers!" and "i hate america" and "justice" among some of the views. What makes it so powerful is not the images we see, but the uncovering of eyes to a portion of the world that needs guidance, but is only given blindness. It hits hard on the issues we have today, such as the "personal interests" of the US, war crimes and the duty of the UN to help every country in need. While it is VERY graphic, the most disturbing images are those we create in our minds when we here the tales straight from those who've suffered. For every tear they shed for their family, it's gallons of blood on their hands.
if only this place had torrents, i would share it all with you. unless i can somehow get permission... |

| just be aware that some scenes are extremely graphic. the movie does revolve around issues such as genocide and mass murder. |

| believe it or not but most fighters have degrees. Carlos Newton, who headlined last year by defeating a Gracie (aka, the family that invented jiu-jitsu) is currently in med school. Chuck Liddel, who just won the main event of this past weekend's UFC has a bachelors in accounting. I'm up in Computer Science, network administration and network security, and i am still gathering certificates in Novell and Cisco technologies. |
