Hey whats up everybody...
I was just wondering if anybody has a set of turntables that they might be looking to sell to me. I wanna buy my first set, I wanted to spend this summer home from school working and learning how to spin. If anybody is looking to sell second hand tables or knows anybody that is let me know...my aim handle is Goochman00...

| Try eBay, thats where I got mine from... you could find some really good stuff there. I paid $650 for a pair of Technics SL-1210mk2, in great condition - Im pretty anal when it comes to scratches ;). |

Does it really matter if they are Mk2 or Mk3 or Mk5 models?

Nope not really... the main differences:
mk2 vs. mk3: Both are +8/-8 pitch wise, only major difference is the mk3 has an auto-pitch reset button. mk2 does not, but instead it has a quartz lock at the 0 mark.
mk5: has the auto-pitch reset as well, but this model has a +16/-16 pitch adjust - plus this model has pretty blue lights. |

| Numark TTX-1 as well as the new Numark CDJ's CDX-1, basically between the Numark and Technics turntables, its strictly about preference. The new Numark CDJ's have been getting some pretty good reviews, you should look into those. |
