another remix of a classic.. :D
this time not as melodic and uplifting as usual, that's why i used my other alias. "The Bass Foundation" is normally for acid and techno, but because i haven't done anything with that project for a while, i thought i'd use it for this remix.
it's still trance, but a bit harder than usual and with a few electro influences..

| sounds nice :) some of the percs are a bit loud and kill off the synths a bit + maybe add some more bass? |

listening now.
nice kick :)
hey this is sounding good...
those voice pad sounding things that come in at 2:54 or so sound really nice :tongue2
this track is really filled out.. lots of elements... cool synth sounds.. nice percussion...
this is a little different than what i normally listen to (i guess its that 'electro' feel) but i really do like it.
i feel that it could have some more atmospheric elements like some distant pads or something, but that is a matter of taste.
the only technical gripe i have is that the high frequencies are a bit harsh sounding... maybe do a little eq or band compression to smooth the highs out a little and it would help the warmth come through.
all in all this is pretty darn good. |

Heh... haven't seen something from TOR in producer's forum yet:)
OK here we go:
Good intro, nice percussions, the sound quality is not bad at all.But the instruments... I'd like to hear more massive sounds,in particular for main lead. And I think the track needs more bass (low freqs I mean).
Besides that, the track is pretty ok ;) |

i'll look into those high frequencies and the lack of bass
problem is that i don't have any speakers..
the track sounds very good on headphones, but apparently not on speakers.
that's quite annoying, but i'll see what i can do.
maybe i should get some good speakers, because it's not the first time that this has happened.
anyway, thanx for the reviews :) |

| The synths sound a bit amateurish.. need to be a bit fatter. Also needs a little bit more atmosphere, but it kinda follows the more 'minimal' feeling of the original. Best thing of it is the mastering, all instruments sound really clear, great job. |

Yes, definitely, it was the first thing that caught my ear. They just scream "software!!" to me. Way too thin and dry. |

maybe the overall sound volume is a bit low.

It's okay, ... but it's nothing special or anything. The build-ups are good, but I don't admire some of your choices of samples. They sometimes sounds kinda 'plastic' and the difference of volume sometimes annoys me.
I can hear your skills and see that you've got a lot in you, but this one is only 6 out of 10 if you ask me, which you did :) |

Nice stuff here. As said, bass a bit louder and fatten the lead synth would be nice.
Yeh love this track and this is a fine remix! |
