DJM-600 Static

Okay, now I know this has probably been in other threads... I don't care. I would love a direct answer to my problem.
The master and channel 2 faders give off a staticy popping sound when I adjust them (and sometimes the audio cuts out completely). What is wrong with them? Is there a simple fix to try? It is annoying the hell out of me knowing they don't work properly.
I have noticed I can decrease or even eliminate the problem completely by pushing down on the fader while I am moving it, but that isn't how it is supposed to work. Help!

Try to clean the channels using the special cleaning stuff.

i can't remember the name of it but you spray it in the channel and it supposedly stops the static from happening. You'll have to remove the face plate first of all so you can get the liquid right into the each channel affected

with regards to your sound cutting out it may be a losse connection somewhere with the channels or fader, but i'm not very technical so don't quote me on that one.

isopropyl alcohol will do just fine in place of the "special cleaning stuff".

try a can of compressed air and shoot that crap into your x-fader and volume faders.

Also, try contact cleaner that comes in a compressed air form. spray that crap into the faders, then slide the faders up and down to remove all the junk.
