That's not true. He doesn't like the Exit-type NYC crowd. He actually loves New York and was looking forward to his residency @ Twilo just before it closed down. :whip:
Tiesto @ Limelight March 2001 was the best Tiesto NYC set ever! I remember talking to him just out in the dancefloor. Back then most people didn't recognize him! How things change. :whip:
Avalon wouldn't cut it though. It's too small and the sound sucks.
Summerstage would be perfect. |

| as cool as the pvd tiesto summerstage idea you guys have throwin around is i cant ever see it happening - i would in myself if it did but think about the logic of it for nyc (just remember this is not england or amsterdam where festivals are a plenty). Made events brings these guys into town and they both pretty much for the most part draw the same crowd so why would they get them both on one night when they could have the same crowd come twice and pay for tickets twice. but- we can all dream cant we. and in terms of what venue it will be - im sure its gonna be another made at the roxy production which is perfectly fine by me! |

yes, I talked to him last February. he holds some grudges with certain clubs and promoters, that doesn't mean he doesn't like NYC. |

lol.. if he was 'looking forward' to his redsidency at twilo, then he would have been booked there at least once.. he was actually booked at webster hall then got switched to limelight which was the debut nyc gig. |

no, because the negotiations for that residency and the corresponding bookings started just before the whole Twilo fiasco happened. he was supposed to start playing there later, but it didn't happen.
i'm not making this up, you can even check the Another Day at the Office dvd, he says this quite clearly (as well as in a few other interviews done over the years). |

now that would blow me away,.. that could make me debate skipping out on Europe if that happened,... but 4hr then 4hr would be nice but 8hr battle/tag team would be the event of all time... |
