the whole Universal Nation, Strange World, The Legacy sounding tracks were absolute classics........they kept my faith in the genre when I was thinking it was lacking in new ideas in the aftermath of '99.......however since their releases 3+ years ago the trance sound has matured and developed further...

To simply repackage those sounds does, as you say Jules and Paulie, indicates a lacking of imagination.....surely this is artistic suicide?

uh.. are you guys reading a totally sperate tracklisting? sure, those tracks are from 3+ years ago, but that universal nation 2003 is a 2003 remix.. so saying something like "however since their releases 3+ years ago the trance sound has matured and developed further..." is what i call message board suicide.

..push is one of the very reasons that trance developped anywhere. out of ALL the producers he is the least cheesiest and most innovative.

i guess if it was a recycled sound i didnt love
then yeh, i would be jumping up and down too paulie

and you are right, hwoever new and different isnt
always right, however you are correct in that
this is a 'play-it-safe' type of album

Complete tracklist
- Intro
- R.E.S.P.E.C.T.
- Imagine
- Trance-Parent
- Electric Eclips
- Blue Midnight
- Journey Of Life
- Universal Nation 2003
- Tranceformation (vs Globe)
- Strange World (Tranquilo's Chill Out Mix)
- United We Stand

Which tracks on there are from 4-5+ years ago? Push vs Globe - Tranceformation is pretty old, but new remixes of two of the most revered trance tracks ever (Universal Nation and Strange World) seems hardly a reason to write off an entire album. As for Intro, Respect, Imagine, Trance-Parent, Blue Midnight and United We Stand, I've never heard these tracks (nor have I heard the new remixes of UN or SW), so I'll withhold judgement on the album until then.

Push's record speaks for itself though, and is enough to get me excited :D

exactly what webbie said.. i cant understand where you guys are getting the statements from

the universal nation remix was out on vinyl ages ago, a lot of people have it, armin played it here last year. i would have thought just about everyone here has heard it?

Ack my bad, thought it said 2004 remix :o

My point still stands though....

I'm looking forward to this one,

Hopefully it is more innovative than his last album From Beyond.

Respect goes to BT, Oakie and Tiesto, cause they have the balls and the self belief in their work to succeed, and do what they feel is right.

Even though its of topic, I still agree 100% with that!

I also hear MIKE is working on electro-type stuff...perhaps those unknown tracks might be a sneak peak...I guess we'll have to wait and see..
