Alright Del, I think everyone has had enough of everyone else's bitching. We need a regular mod in the Political Forum, who participates and is highly active in it. I think just about everyone is tired of having to go run and find a mod (whichever one could be up at the time) to regulate at thread or a poster who has gotten out of hand. Arturo blatantly admitted he shouldn't be a mod there, and I haven't ever seen Blik nor Tu_Face (or whatever his nick is) post there. We usually fetch Simon.
Please, fix this, I'd be much obliged. |

U can fetch me anytime u need :D
political forum seems to be ok most of the time, i pop in there a couple of times a day and have a quick browse thru the threads.
if i see blatent racisim or ppl flaming each other then it gets
sad to say but i have to spend most of my time in COR simply cos that's the quickest moving forum for views and replys
But i would say that Political Forum needs it's own reg mod and my suggestion would be Occrider

I nominate occ as well, simply because he's probably the most mature & impartial person who regularly posts. I've never seen him lose it or flame anyone. (although he has posted a disturbingly large amount of Jesus photoshops in the past :p)

occrider is a very credible source for info and from what i see as a very level headed guy. i think he's also someone who's mature, well informed, and can make decisions impartially and without bias especially in a forum like that..
whether he'd be willing to spend time breaking up squabbles and the like is another story though. I think he'd rather spend his time actually learning something as opposed refereeing the next mid-east flamewar.

I think it's more to do with the threads started by FuzzyGreen, Dopey, Illian and so on that always descend into a a mass flame war between the far left and the far right members, whilst everyone else sits back and watches the fun. The only problem is that they aren't very good flame wars - the insults always suck. :( |

| Occ would be a nice choice for the reasons already mentioned, if only to relieve the main mods a little so they can attend to other issues on TA. Only problem is Swamper doesn't want any more mods for the time being, so I doubt anything will happen. |

| i say i should be a mod here..since im very ignorant in the ways of politics....i wouldnt pick sides i would just delete threads where i feel fit..also there would be alot more political debates about how i was drunk when i made a thread |
