How to make Percussion like the track Sander van Doorn - Loaded (Original Mix)

This tune starts off with some nice percussion and since I'm absolutely crap on percussions, I've been trying to imitate some songs. Anyone knows how to handle this one? I hear there's some sort of filtered kick on every fourth and a sort off clap off-beat, but I can't seem to get it all sound well :rolleyes:
There's a snare kicking in later on on every second beat and a subtle closed hihat going on every second note i think...
Any help would be much appreciated :) |

| The kick is of course HP filtered at the start. That first hat in there sounds like it has some healthy distortion on it. After that, it's just an assortment of various hat sounds that come in with various stereo spacing. |
