Campus networking department just uncapped our T1.

omfg.
it took six months of half of the campus bitching about it, but they just cracked last night an uncapped access to the t1 backbone. prior to this morning, everyone was capped to retarded speeds that all but prevented us from gaming, surfing the web, downloading, etc.
right now, i'm streaming tranceairwaves, running four torrents for a total of +/- 400kb/sec, and posting here on the boards. :eek: |

campus sharing t1 = really slow
t1 really isnt all that fast especially shared, the upload is good for setting up servers though
im agine having tons of people share 2 cable connections |

but yeah I hated it when that happened to me.
