Not sure what to buy, what do you guys think? I have owned 1200's for 10 years but I need a new set and the Numarks look cool but I'm just not sure.

i had the same dilema a couple of months ago. i bought the m5g's. they cost me about $200 morethen what i could have gotten the ttx's for.
glad i did it. once you get past all the glitz associated with the ttx's, you realize you dont need it, and would neevr use it.
if you've been playing on technics, i am suprised its even an option for you. |

The M5Gs are definitely superior in terms of quality and durability.
At least u know they'll last you at LEAST another 10 years |

I cant beleive I really was even thinking about doing anything other then Technics but I read some reviews about the Numarks and they seemed pretty cool.
I'm going with the Technics. WTF was I ever thinking?!?!?!

cosmokid... what are u even saying? u say that u bought m5g's instead of ttx1's yet u still say the m5gs are better? how can u tell? i dont think u've tried both so where is your basis for judgement? |

| i got a pair of ttx's and i can say that they're awesome. thing is i've never tried any technics before so i can't say anything bout them compared to the numarks. |

both are great turntables
the big advantage abut technics is that they are the standered so if you spin outsomewhere you are most likely to find them there
if you plan on doing turntableism i definatly would suggest the ttx1s |

I HATE TECHNICS I WILL NOT ACCEPT THAT AN OLD TURNTABLE BETTER THAN A NEW ONE it like comaparing a 500 mhz pentium processor with a 3 ghz pentium 4 just does not compare... |
