Multimedia player that plays .asx files?

Hey there. I'm looking for a multimedia player that can play .asx streams, other than that worthless ty Windows Media Player. It's buffering like crazy and it's driving me crazy.

I don't know about that.
I often listen to CJAD 800 (www.cjad.com) during Canadiens games. A few weeks ago CJAD was a part of the Surfer Network, which has their own special player called SurferNetwork Player.
They were streaming both modem and broadband streams, and there were never any problems back then - but now since they are no longer a part of the Surfer Network (why, I do not know) they only broadcast in 32kbps .asx and it's buffering like CRAZY. It's driving me crazy.
Ah well - I guess I have to live with it, even though it might result in me being mental hositalized :nervous: |

| If they were a part of the surfer network (dont know what that is so im just guessing here) they may have been ising their connectin. If they are on their own now their internet conection is probably slower thus resulting in lower quality and occasional skipping. The software itself probably isnt the problem. I sometimes use WMP to listen to various streams and i have so far had no problems whatsoever unless of course the hoest was overloaded. |
