Recording internet radio onto CD or cassette: easy?

Hi, can someone suggest a way to do this... does it depend on my sound card and if so is it just a matter of connecting the right devices and streaming the audio onto a storage thingee (CD or tape)? Thank you very much for your suggestions... I don't want to market anything but rather take a sample of something for personal collection, as people do with the regular radio.

It's a piece of piss mate!

Download a Sound/Wave editor such as soundforge, and hit record. Then once you're done save it as a MP3 or .WAV file and save it to cd.

Tape is even easier. Plug any tape recorder into your speakers with an out line and just hit record while playing.
