FLOOPS Studio, keyboard as a midi

| i am using floops studio, and i can turn the keyboard into a well, a musical keyboard, like a midi controller. but i am wanting to live record from my keyboard, ive been messing around with it for quite a while, all i can get is the 'step edit' thing to work, but i am looking for a way to press 'play' and be able to just press the keys and have them appear on a piano roll with the correct timing that i pressed it. anyone konw if this is possible? or am i stuck with the dumb onld step editing and drawing them in? thanks- |

record but i think u have to have it playing to record
edit
record is that button that has a dot in the middle of it
right by play and stop |
