Legal Mood Elevators

Following on from the 'My Theory On XTC' thread I was wondering what legal supplements are out there that will improve your mood or give you a high?
I'm not talking about the ecstacy herbal highs or anything like that, as they are impractical for everday use as well as being too expensive. I know that taking 5-HTP will increase serotonin levels and SAMe is said to increase dopamine levels. Are there any other products in the market that will work well? |

| Rhodiola is usually good... 5HTP can make your brain feel kind of weird and spacey if you use it all the time, in my experience. |

This never works for me. :/ I've tried exercising a lot consistently to help with depression and it never seems to do anything.
The endorphins that are released during exercise also inhibit serotonin, which could theoretically lead to further depression if your serotonin levels are naturally diminished.
I have seen it help for a lot of people and help them a lot, though. |

Caffine in coffee never seems to be strong enough to have a noticible effect. Lets face it, it's just a popular drink. Pure caffine is another matter. But it's very bad for you to take pure caffine on a daily basis. |

I thought this post was about the legal mood in elevators. oops.
Face forward and exit on your floor, no touching anyone. That is all. |

Of course it depends what's causing your mood, but a lot of times vitamin B complex can help (usually B50 or B100, the others are too weak).
Obviously it won't help you much if you don't have a vitamin deficiency, but a lot of people do. If you don't need it, you just piss it out anyway (turns your piss bright yellow too... yum). |

I've heard that St. Johns Wort is a very good mood elevator, especially when used in conjunction with 5-HTP.
I've also heard that it can cause side effects such as headaches, drowsyness and sun sensitivity. Can someone confirm this? |
