Junkie XL Live @ Avalon, Boston 4/9 Review

OMG, is all I have to say. JXL tore the roof off of Avalon last night... it was such a great show. I'd never seen JXL live and I figured I was in for a treat, but oh boy did I get blown away. The man puts some energy and curve balls into his PAs. Man... that rocked. :) The energy, the live remixes, and more just make it so amazing... tracks I knew for sure he played off the top of my head:

Yea last night I had a great time - I was gonna go to Armin but I couldn't pass up this only 20 min away from me too and it was only $10 woooo! :D :D
I got there around 11:45 - It was so great he was on the stage - I wish they put dj's there more often too - The only time I've ever seen a DJ on the stage is Ferry Corsten back in October of 2002. (I've heard they used to put Sasha & Digweed up there before, but I wasn't there) I guess a big reason is because they don't like moving the equipment around too much - I guess I can't blame them for that - They need to get that lazer back in there though, it's been tooooooo long for that thing to get fixed O_o
It was cool afterward I got my Red Pill, Blue Pill Vinyl signed, and got picture with him and all that stuff - I also got some cool pictures of the night if anyone wants to see them, or post them here for everyone else to see, just let me know :D
All in all a great night, and was more then happy that I went :D |
