Adding LINKS to Threads...

Hi,
I want to add links to my threads, but I don't just want to copy and paste a URL. I have seen you guys do it so you have something that says
CLICK HERE
And when you click there it opens another site up in a new window. Do you use HTML to do this? Would apprecite if someone could help me out.
I have noticed the vB code while posting this, but I would still like to know how to do it on all forums.
