Ever been rejected from a Bar / Nightclub ?

Im sure everyone at sometime in there lifes gets rejected from a bar/nightclub, its happened to me loads , and last night i got turned away because i had a little name on my shirt and my friends shoes which were 150 quid were 'too scruffy' , Anyways I was in this queue for a new night club the queue was massive , 15 mins later we get to the front door, bouncer says to me.... you and you cant come in !!
ME: I said WTF ? why not ?
BOUNCER : I don't need a reason , your not comming in
ME: I said wheres the manager
MANAGER : Your not comming in !!
ME : I want a reason !
MANAGER : Were trying to promote a certain style and you do not fit into that style.
ME : I said thats bull, Were both smartly dressed.
" I just lost it,
ME : Listen mothere*r, the only reason you aint letting me in is coz am white and your black,
BOUNCER : Listen move away before you get hurt
ME : *j00 touch me and ill sue your ass
MANAGER : Your Barred Dont come Back.....
Anyways , we went to another night club with more girls and cheaper beer, shame they were playing ABBA. lol. |

I've never seen that happen here in the US, unless it was a ticket problem or they weren't properly dressed(gang attire, people who dressed like too casual, etc.) |

ha, reminds me of everytime my friends visit. I ahve one friend that will just not conform to dress codes anywhere. so he always gets turned away..
one night he gets turned away and him and another friend go somewhere else, the guy at teh door says for me to watch my shirt....which it was a nice shirt..
so I says to him, "are you kidding me, thisis Turkish Veneer."
he said, oh, ok.
well my two friends came back and started with the door guy and were hassling him for about 20 mins before security surrounded them. Nothing like getting called out of the club to find 5 300lb bouncers about to pounce on your friends. |

funny thing is, dress in all diesel and you always get in.
Dress any way else other then the popular stuff and bouncers give you looks. |

Yeah, I got rejected once. There was a small step just before the door of the bar. I stumbled on it cause I didn't notice it and the bouncer wouldn't let me in because "you're so drunk you can't even stand straight!". I was sober at the time.
Well, then I just went to the back of the line and got in just fine. |

Many times because of my shoes/pants/what-so-ever-reason but most time just handled those situations by asking for the manager... :)
Just tell em "lemme in or stfu".. :) |

I was rejected once with a friend. He won some tickets and he brought the mail (as it said).
At the door they didn't know about the competition or whatever, we called the manager but that dude didn't show up.
hen we wanted to enter by jsut paying but they seemed pissed off.
Then they started complaining about mt friends clothes... We exchanged some harsch words, some other bouncer dude came, so funny how they show off.
Talking to eachother, making a bold fist and scratching it etc etc show off ...
Ah well, we didn't bother and we just went away again, very pissed off. 1.15minutes of a drive for nothing.
oh yea, if they don't let you in cause of your shoes orso, jsut give em some money or ask how you can chance his oppinion.
Nothing worse when you see people getting rejected cause of sneakers / white shoes and then other people in the club walking around in those same kind of shoes ... |

Yeh i was rejected once too, i was with my brother and friends and we were going to this club, and there was these stupid idiots behind us dressing up in wannabe gangster outfits and the bouncers thought they were part of our group.. so they kept denying us in, very stupid actually |

Rostros got shoes? :stongue: Are you really that naive? That's just how clubs work. They define themselves by their clients’ appearances. Next time do your homework and dress accordingly. :rolleyes: Shame on you for playing the race card to excuse ur stupidity. :whip:
Only time I've got rejected is at the bar when I've attempted an ill-fated pass at a hot chick. :cool:

Dress codes ffs, why can't people wear what they like :rolleyes: i can see why they would want to give some image to the club and not let in dirty clothes vagabonds, but some clubs are so picky and lame that it's disgusting
Anyway i've been rejected once. Was with a couple of friends, we decided that the drinks was going to be too expensive inside so we went to a small bar to drink first before getting in. Of course, that is not a good idea. I drunk 3 shots and was fine. My cousin drunk 4 and was fine too. The two girls that were with us took 4 and went completely crazy - one of them at the end of the night ended up unconscient :nervous: . And i won't even tell how the guy that took 10 was. The bouncer just looked at us and said 'no you can't go in, you're not in conditions to get in'. My stupid friends kept complaining a few mins at the door while almost falling from their drunkness and then we finally decided to go away.
There was other time more recently when i almost got blocked at the door too. I've been at that bar for quite a few times and never got problems but that day they were checking ID's. The age to get in was 18, I was going to be 18 years old in 10 days time but the idiot looked to my ID card and told me i couldn't get in. Neither could my friend cause he had forgotten his card. Then my cousin's girlfriend who was underage and had already got in came back with the manager that she knew and he let us in. Ended up being one of the worst clubbing nights i've ever had, thanks to awful cheese music, issues with a girl that i liked, and an annoying problem with urinating i have which meant 2 hours on a dancefloor in pain with a bladder about to explode :nervous: |
