The only reason I said I can do a better deal on Tascam is because we have a better margin on the unit, not to mention that I owned the X-9 and will once again own a new one within the next 6 weeks or so.

Don't buy from the US. Her Majesty's Customs will slap a duty bill on you that will make you scream. It will also need to be payable on delivery or they wont hand it over, not to mention if you can't pay it at the time it can also be tough trying to catch up with it.

Man! Your avatar/banner is freaking me out. You know you are getting old when you see pictures of pretty models and you aren't even remotely interested in them as they look too young for you. Just out of interest what are their ages, and please don't say under 20 because then I would also be old enough to be their father!

Nem, I hear ya brother.... I'm not that old, but when dating a 21 year old sounds kind of abnormal, I get to feeling old too. Now if only all the cute girls my age weren't already married then I wouldn't have to be chasing those young 'uns around.
I am giving up when I turn 30 though.... ;)
Oh yea, if anyone knows any gorgeous girls with a low self esteem, average intelligence and no psychotic tendencies let me know. |

| I played with a unit at Guitar Center and there was definitely a delay when doing fast EQ cuts... of course I didn't know that the response time was adjustable... interesting. That unit definitely has a ton of features - wouldn't be a bad idea to attach a laminated reference card to the demo units. |

| hey tranz, u said u were goin for the x-9 for the second time based on the fact that the xone 92 rotary went up in price? wouldnt it make more sense to consider the 92 w/vca sliders if ur tryin to go up from the x-9? |

No not because the rotary version went up in price, but either way, sliders or rotary version even at 1699.00 USD, still about double the cost of the X-9, I've used my X-9(when Uberzone Performed Live) at a our Club RED(3500-4000 capacity) and trust me it sounded so much better than djm600 that we used to have, now we have Xone 464MKII, Xone 092 regular, and believe it or not, houseroom, aka patio, has DJX700 from behringer.
