TranceAddict Forums Archive > Archives > Classic old threads / Inactive Forums > Retired Forums > Frequently Asked Questions / Tutorials / How do I? explorer question View this Thread in Original format mezzir I use mozilla firebird as my browser, half because i like it better and half cause explorer was really buggy and crashed a lot. however, lately explorer.exe has been doing illegal operations like every other minute, and It seems i can't close it cause whenever i do manage to ctrl-alt-del it closed it reopens since its like the basis of windows. anyone know any way to stop this besides formatting or reinstalling? and if you might be able to help but need clarifications lmk thanks! Internet Explorer uses explorer.exe and explorer.exe uses Internet Explorer.
