| the spurs strike force right now IMO has the potential to be one of the best in europe defoe , robbie keane and postiga are all fantastic players when in form and it surprises me how bad spurs are doing despite all the talent that they have though that may all change if van bommel decided to come to white hart lane |

| Being a Spurs fan I am so used to us being chronic underachievers. In the last six matches we haven't taken away any more than five points. Our strike force is quality and we've got defensive players in Carr, King and Gardner. It's our midfield thats lacking, but if we get van Bommell it will hopefully give us a good anchor in midfield that we're lacking. But only time will tell. |

Defoe has a lot of potential, but he needs to sort out his temperament.
The jury's still out on Robbie Keane, he has an excellent first touch, decent strike and a striker's instinct, but it's hard to tell if he'll ever get 20+ goals a season. Maybe at a different club with more service.
Postiga is a classic example of a European player full of potential coming to England and struggling to adapt to the game. Give him time, but I wouldn't be surprised if they sell him to a European club and get back some of their cash. |

Newcastle have been repeatedly linked with Carr for a long time. But from what I've seen of him this year (only the odd match), he looks good going forward but dodgy defensively. Not really sure he's worth going for now. |

| This season Carr hasn't really done much. Last year he was in the PFA Team of the Year and was a standpout part of the team in every game. This season hasn't been one of his better ones. |
