Abuse of "power"

Please note how I typed the word "power".
I am sick and tired of mods abusing their power. Especially Arturo. I created a thread, and closed it because of the amount of trolling and spamming that had become regular in that thread, along with the fact that it was mainly only two individuals speaking in it. Not only did he reopen it, he merged it with another spam thread.
Arturo clearly knew that I did not want the thread reopened, because when he texted me earlier last night to ask me about it, I made no indication of wanting it to be reopened.
Not only that, many things on the forum have not been updated, in fact, there's a thread complaining about it. He is promising to update many things, and non have been done. In fact, he also threatens to "wax" someone once they go against anything he says.
He's also a mod in the political forum, which in the other thread I noted how he himself said he should be removed from being a mod there.
Okay, so this turned into a "strip him of his powers" thread. Regardless, something needs to change. |

c'mon now. how come opening 1 thread would be abuse of powers? let's get serious here. abuse of power would be if i banned you and all your friends. now that IS something i'd call abuse.
regarding the gallery thread, its not an OBLIGATION for me to update. as full time employee and student, i obviously have priorities to take care of no ?
now about the 'wax' its a joke i have had for couple of years. if i were to ban every one i did not like a lot of people would be gone. as far as i remember the last used i suspended was 8+motnhs ago. you clearly have no facts about what i do or what i dont.

I mean I have my complaints about the mods and all, but a thread like this coming from someone who's asked for personal favours countless times... I think this is a 2-way street.
And dangit Art, don't merge spam threads, just close them all. :p |

Oh my God, asking a mod to close a racist thread or a thread that got way out of control is now asking a personal favor? Whatever.
Oh forget it. This was actually not a soley bash Arturo thread, but whatever. It was intended to be in general, about mods that abuse their "power". Since all I'm getting is sarcasm and not real opinions,
