Why I HATE Toronto

I hate Toronto, Canada. I can't stand that stupid city. Here I live in probably the United States most beautiful cities, Minneapolis/St. Paul. This metro area of over 2 million is one of the coolest places on Earth, we have everything anyone would ever want. Well, except for what Toronto has. For christsake! Last year Oakenfold, Picotto, Tiesto, etc., etc., etc. visited your stupid little city on the shores of Lake Ontario. This next MONTH, you get Tiesto again and Tilt, and a whole bunch of others. Good God!!! Share the wealth! Last year, the only people who deemed MSP worthy enough was DJ Dan and a once-in-a-lifetime appearance by Oakey. That was in 12 months!!!! You beat that in a week!!! Plus you guys get to have the CN Tower. That is a sharp looking building (please forgive the pun).
Torontoites: please do not take the above seriously. I do not hate your fair city, I am only utterly jealous of it and its citizens.....you lucky bastards!!! |

| Besides .. I it's not all it's cracked up to be... (although I like jungle, D&B) .. I have to endure a hell of a lot of extremely crappy, poor quality.. DArk Jungle ... (again .. I don't mind Dark Jungle but so much is produced here that a lot of it is extremely low quality)... as well, the scene here aside from the few amazing underground production companies.. is so trendy and commercialized that I can't stomach a lot of the parties .. because all you get are a bunch of space cadets (i.e. 2 viles of K up their noses + an assortment of other chems) who've been partying sinse last summer... don't know a thing about the music they've tapped into and spend their time worrying over wheather someone is a Junglist, Candy Raver or Liquid Kid .. COmpletely anti-Rave sort of mentality... (except for the oh so good BLA and MoonShadow free Cherry Beach parties :) ) |

| well toronto sounds okay, but then id have to live in canada. haha. i just figure that NOT living there is toughening me up so that when big names come i can truly enjoy them. still tho id rather spend my summer in boulder and have tons o to go to, yet not have to live anywhere other than boulder. man boulder is cool. i apologize for that nonsense. peez... |

| nope and it pissed the out of me. it was the monday after i came back here after winter break. i honestly nearly myself when i saw the GU tour concluded at SOMA in boulder. a tiny little club in boulder. it sucked. and i am missing micro there on the 20th, which i thot was happening during winter break. damn the party scheduling. another funny tidbit - not only did i barely miss the nick warren show, the night i went back home in november oakenfold was playing in detroit - so i missed that too. the gods are against me apparently. i had to settle for mystre on NYE, and it wasn't real great. peace. :( |

Europe is the best guys.. Holland in particular.
As it turned out Tiesto is closing his so called Tiesto-Solo tour in Rotterdam in a week or two. And I got tickets.
I'll let you know what it was like. :D
