ok, let me put this in a way that hopefully most people will understand. Ill place us into 2 groups. Me (group 1) and the rest (group 2).
1) I listen to different styles of music. Believe it or not, but I do. Saying I dont open my mind ( I hate that statement so much) is completely wrong. How many times do I have to go to Aria and listen to Yaz and Preach before I can say I dont like it?
2) You listen to different styles of music.
1) I like trance, and I dislike other styles of music.
2) You like other styles of music, and dislike trance.
1) I only comment in threads in which my favourite style is featured.
2) You comment in threads in which your favourite stlyes are featured.
Now, all would be swell if we ended it right there. No fighting, no one making stupid posts (well for the most part).
Why is it that only people in group 2 want to harass people in group 1? Why is it always group 2 people causing for no reason? Im forced into the defensive every time and I try to make a valid point only for it to be overlooked by those in group 2.
If you just stay out of trance related threads, you wont have me breathing down your neck. Yet you still do it, and I find it hilarious that you do, because I enjoy debating...It beats watching baseball. Its just sad that I never get any competition.
So...Cosmic Gate roll call? :D |

We ( and i speak for about 95% of this board ) don'T dislike trance... we dislike BAD TRANCE that's not the same thing. I loved armin @ BEB i adore ferry corsten everytime i see him. You gotta understand that we don't dislike trance, it's just not our favorite electronic dance music !

finally a civilized post worth responding to.
I understand that you dislike bad trance, as do I.
I have a different opinion on what is good and what is bad, everyone does...thats what makes us individuals. The key difference is the expression of that opinion.
To everyone:
When I say Im always on the defensive, I mean that I have to always come in and defend my opinion for some reason. Why do I have to do that? Im not here to cause or make enemies, Im merely here because this is tranceaddict and I like trance. You can talk about whatever style of EDM you want and it makes no difference to me. I stay out of those conversations because they dont interest me. Would you like it everytime a Ben Sims thread is started and I call him cheese even though I dont listen to much techno? Of course not.
Dont like trance? Fine. Your choice, your opinion and I respect that. Say something negative about it on a trance oriented board and it makes you look reall really stupid.
I seriously hope that you spend all day going to punkaddict.com, rapaddict.com, bluesaddict.com, rockandrolladdict.com, nurseryrhymeaddict.com, and folkaddict.com and saying all their music is cheese and they all need to open their minds and evolve. Otherwise you look really really really stupid. |

Ok to anser all of the aria promotors yes louis it's me alex and i tought you knew it from the begining cos you knew my compagnie name and i don't go posting bad stuff on your posts about aria so i would apreciae the saim courtesy from you guys.
Louis knows me and knows my backgroud as a promotor he know i'm serious with business and i have done very good promotion with him for blu and aria but when my partners chose to leave aria for something we all think is better for us and our clients i left with them and we did not leave in bad terms with aria.
Louis gravity never considered becoming a hip hop club i don't know where u got that from but it is absolutly wrong. There was talk about having some sort of special hip hop artists or something on sundays when the club is usually closed but there was never anything said about it becoming a hip hop club.
Zing i don't know who you are and i doubt you ever even met me so you should watsh what you say about kicking my ass cos if you really want to meet with me on those termes that can also be arranged. I am here to promote my club not to start a war. My partners asked me to post on the forums and inform the people i have not been posting anything negative about aria on your posts and i have epcialy not been threatening anyone of physicly beating them that is a new kind of low, i would apreciate if you guys don't come to my post trashtalking about my club.
I would really like to thank the rest of you people for trying to keep this forum clean of trashtalk.
And for the people who were arguying about Derrick Carter, yes he was at gravity not long ago. |

malek i don't really understand how you want me to present my self but sure, my name is alex i have worked at sona, at aria (for a very short while) i also worked at various clubs arround montreal Blu, Jet, Bourbon Street North, Ice Club, London and a fiew others. If you ever want to swing by any of the clubs i work at weather it is bourbon, blu, gravity or any other evet i organise just let me know and then i can really introduce my self to you.
Krinkrin the may 25th thing is a mistake it should be on the 25th of june that is a friday but it is not a certain date yet, that is still not a 100% confirmed but i will keep you posted. |
