Hombre! Eddy Van Halen is probably one of the greatest guitarists EVER.

Perhaps you don't know but he is riddled w/ throat cancer and probably will never tour again.

Me? I don't mind dropping a bit of coin to see not only music I rock out too - but to see a friggin' amazing artist.

Mm kay? Thanks.

Eddie is a good guitarist, but definately not worth 150 bucks, but whatever floats your boat, I guess old guys in tight ripped spandex is your thing.

For me, personally, Eddie is easily on of the greatest, most innovative, revolutionary guitarists of all time.

I used to rock and roll all night and party every day, and then it was every other day. And now im lucky if I find 15 minutes a week in which to get funky --- Homer Simpson

Well he definately is a good guitarist, im not much of a 80's music guy, but I know that Eddie had the skills to back up his reputation. I just don't know about the whole revolutionary thing, only really innovative guitarists from the 80's I found was Johnny Marr, but its all opinion anyways. Have a blast at your concert, but 150 bucks...man...*shakes his head*

Eddie was innovative/revolutionary in the 70s man, the 70s.

Little known fact is that Eddie actually tweaked, took a part and made his guitars and amplifiers to get the "van halen sound". To this day people have trouble trying to re-create the sound. Some of his amplifier design innovation has been used by pretty much every major rock band since.

And $126.50? I look at this as probably my last chance to see him - so I don't mind as much as if he'd tour every other day.

BTW - Armin boat cruise is $70. ;)
