I love eating at porcao.. but for this kind of event, it is no good.
Porcao works if you have hundreds of TAs with money to waste in town for a huge event.
Calling porcao and trying to get a room for 10-20 people, and expecting lots of people to show up and spend 40 dollars pre-ferry... it just wouldn't work.
I wonder if some restaurant on south beach wouldn't be a better idea. My mom works off brickell so she is gonna ask her friends for cheaper, more casual places then porcao to eat/drink in that area.... |

yeah i vote no on the porcaro. nice place, way too expensive, food not that great. not many of you were there but madhatterradio did a little thing the monday of WMC at a place on south beach. it was really cool, drinks and food were cheap, and they had a DJbooth. maybe we could check that out. it was a really casual beachy little place.
by the way, im coming down for this. FERRY AFTERPARTY PT 2!!! lol |

Definetly. That place was really good, although for a TA meeting we'd have to hit that beeotch up early on a weekend to get enough seats/tables, since it was HELLA packed when me and the others went there last weekend. |

I emailed Lia about Ferry's attendance at said soiree.
I doubt the Knife would be feasible if she says he will show up. Too far, everyone has to pay to get in, etc.
Hopefully I will hear from her sometime this week so we can put final plans in motion.
I was going to say:
If Ferry shows, somewhere close to space, time closer to the show.
If Ferry can't come, Knife. |
