When I was 12, I was on the radio twice requesting Steve Martin & Paul Simon's 'Silver Bells' during Christmas. I think I have it on cassette, I should rip it and upload it. They made fun of me on the air, it was hilarious.
When I traveled with my dad to Denver a year or two later to see Bruce Springsteen, we camped out all day in hopes of front row tickets that were supposed to go on sale as an extra deal that day. We just missed out on them by a couple of people, but a news station interviewed us and asked me a bunch of questions about being from Seattle and liking Springsteen and stuff. |
