Sidechain compression where the kick acts as the trigger and the bass is compressed.

can u describe how i do that sidechain effect in cubase sx 2.0?

keep hearing about sidechain compression and get the feeling its rather important for achieving a good mix..can it be done in reason?

There have been a few posts on this. Nothing that a quick search wont turn up. Also im sure there are many tutorials all over the internet about how to use a sidechain compressor. I dont think reason has a sidechain compressor, someone on here thought of a way to do it without an actual compressor with sidechain. You could use rewire (an awesome tool!) to rewire to cubase, but that gets expensive.
