Only down part of the night was that drunk bastid who kept makin moves on my girl....i swear 2 years ive been partying and this was the first time i felt an unresistable urge to tear someones ballsacks off.....it was scary too cuz she had to leave early and this ******s group starting getting their coats the moment she put hers on....oh well....alls well that ended well....system was kickass :) :).

I'm glad you guys had fun listening to the sounds of Luke Fair and our own Richard Raiban.
I wish I had more energy and $$ to go last night. (I wonder if i'll be going to see Boy George tonight -- am supposed to but who knows) :(
But anyway, yeah... From what you guys heard of Luke's set last night -- is it anything revolutionary? Don't get me wrong, I love Luke's stuff and am very proud to be a fellow Torontonian with him :) . It's just that Matt Coleridge was just hyping him up saying Luke's got the future of music in his set(s) and I really want to know what I missed! :gsmile: |

Oh Jesus... this is the first time I caught Luke headlining in a long time now, and holy batman! His track selection is unique, so fresh and futuristic, so different from what I'm used to hearing these days, just amazing! AMAZING! It's beyond revolutionary...
I've only caught his first 2 hrs, but I've heard enough to bump him up to the top 3 names on my list of DJs. I can't even imagine what he did later on in the night...
The turn out was ok, a lot of space on the podium, not as packed as it was for Lawler, but mainly due to lack of recognition of the talent Luke posesses, I guess. Oh well, too bad, so sad... you people missed out LARGE! |

Luke Boring....
His tracks are great but he bores the hell out of me on the dance floor. A good Dj will mix it up a bit more
I like Luke's sets for the car or at home but i need something a bit more energized on the floor.
Oh and Im not hating, im not saying hes crap, nor is his music crap. He just needs to come up with better programming skills to incorperate the proggy stuff into a more workable club format. Thats all. |

you got that right SON! he plays what he feels like, if he feels like playin' house, than its house. if he feels like playin' electro/breaks, than its electro/breaks! and....so on :D Luke has a lot of potential. i remember seeing him 2 years ago the first time. he impressed me back then already! i knew he would turn out great, even more hes becoming more popular! overall i think the most of our local TALENTS that toronto possess dont get enough respect  these guys can really play, no not play, their magicians! thats the correct term... |

This Friday he played anything he felt was appropriate, from tribal to electro, breaks and some progressive all mixed up in this incredibly sweet set... he sure kicked some ass!!!
And some of you might find him boring, but as far as me and my partner in crime (who was jumping all over the place, screaming out of his mind, going "HOLY SH!T" every 2 minutes) and all the people in the club that night are concerned, Luke is a champ! One and only... |
