personally i thought scarface was a bit weak.
especially comparing to the absolute masterpiece that godfather 2 is. |

Godfather is legendry, all 3 parts were awesome and couldn't have had a better ending to finish it off.
The Sorpranos is a great contendor for all of them, it being a series makes it even better IMO. |

THERE IS NO PART 3!
(in the same vein as when a father says i have no son...)
and i agree psygnosis, sopranos is good, but not as good as the godfather movies.
i got the series on dvds, the pine barrens episode in series 3 classic. favourite episode from all the series :)
series 1 is the best though. |

| godfather 2 is perhaps the only movie I can think of which actually surpassed its original. my opinion |

Anyone who says it doesn't deserve to be amongst the greatest films of all time is kidding themselves.

i find those imdb rankings reflect my tastes (and i guess the vast majority of movie-lover's as well) perfectly.
i've seen all of those films ranked in the top 20 (cept seven samurai) and although i may swap em around, they do deserve there placings at the top - cept the LOTR films. personally, they wouldn't be in my top 100.
