| last nite i got invited to play at a club because some guy was sick and could not play. All the djs before me were playing house and breaks. I decided i wanted to rip the roof off that club. I am tired of most of the new trance out cause it does not do it for me anymore. I decided to drop all the old floor fillers like dumonde-never look backl, rank 1-airwave,the quest-c sharp, mauro picotto-komodo. I had that crowd going nuts in the place. People afterwards were asking me where i got most of my tracks. I could not believe that they had never heard any of them. I dropped heaven scent last and i quess everyone knew it cause they were clapping along and going crazy during it. That was the best set i have ever had and the best crowd response. I miss the old days of trance. |

I miss it too, but I think your lucky you had such a clueless crowd. A more knowledgable crowd about the genre might not be as welcoming with such an old set. I love it when DJ's drop a few classics into their sets, but unless I am going to a specific themed classics night, I think I would be quite disappointed coming away from a set like yours.

oh man ive been to one, totally drunk off my ass, and it was amaaaazing. everyone was going crazy partying to the old classic tracks. the entire place was going mad. i miss the old good trance :p |

Been to quite a few. The most recent being Gatecrasher Red n Black 3 (Last ever Gatecrasher), with sets from Scott Bond, Matt Hardwick and Judge Jules (Who suprisingly played an amazing set.) Some tracks that were remembered are as followed, you can see how amazing it must have been :)
