k, now i know which track is Apollo. do you have any idea what the 2nd track is from that set? i was waiting for Jody to ID it on another forum and he said that he forgot which one he played that night and that he hadn't downloaded the set yet. |

Aye, I'm sure you're referring to the WOW forums. Jody still hasn't said anything on it yet. Good track though, for sure. |

I'm guessing it won't be nearly as crowded as the big names (Tiesto, PvD, etc ..) but it should draw a fairly decent crowd IMO. People who are into the scene will recognize what Nick and Jody have done and take the chance to see them given the opportunity, which does not happen very often.
Hopefully it's a music-nerd crowd :p |

I too saw that post.
And Ya I am thinking a meetup is in order.
I figure I will post more of my thoughts on said matter after I have gotten some sleep.
I danced my ass off at LG last night and was tired as hell by 4:15 tonight @ Vision.

Did I see that correctly on the Derrick Carter/Moonshine flyer, that 5/5 is your birthday? Must be pretty interesting to have two Taurus's dating each other.
My gf is stubborn as hell (but NOT a Taurus) but I am a Taurus (5/4) and stubborn as hell too, and it's pretty rough at times. Hope it's going as well or better for ya! :D |

Ok kiddies.
I said I would post more about the idea for a meetup in a day or two and the day or two has passed.
I am definitely up for a get together beforehand, and I know several other people who I have talked to are as well.
So the way I figure it is this, we put up names of places, I think somewhere within walking distance of Vision is a good idea, and say how many we would show up with. We get the whole where will it be thing decided by say Thursday evening. Everyone gives a "definite" count of how many should show up. Then I will make a reservation on friday evening after I return home from work (say around 6 pm).
I am thinking that the meetup should be early, like 9ish so that those who want to go see the opener but still want to meetup beforehand can do so, and it would also allow the others who want to drink up at a slightly cheaper rate beforehand to also do so.
The one "catch" to this (due to the last 2 meetup fiascos in Feb.) is that anyone who says "yes I will be there" but does not show up and is seen at Vision will have to buy me 1 drink at the club. I made a reservation for 20 before AVB and only 2 TA's who said they were going to be there showed up. Princess did a similar thing before G&D and only a handfull showed up as well. I am not trying to sound like an ass....but I know she will agree with me that you really feel like an idiot making a reservation for a large party at a place on a Saturday night and then to have more than half no-show it is a real bummer.
Ok....my suggestion because it is both close and fairly large is Gino's East on Ohio.
