My very first painting.

I was sitting around my house and thought I would like to paint a picture. So I went and bought some paints, and this is what I produced. Criticism, Constructive Criticism, and Flattery are all welcome. So let me know what you think. I myself already have a list of what I think is wrong with the picture, so be honest, but do remember this is my first painting.

nice work! Most beginners end up with stick like figures during their first :D

suggestions: try creating a greater contrast between the light and dark values so the form stands out more and doesn't look flat. Also try creating the illusion of a dramatic light shining from either one of the sides.

Great pic. What else have you got for us besides an empty drawing board?
