Ok, I finally got my system up and i just bought Sonar 3.0. Now, i've been using Sound Forge to record all my mixes and been using the editor on there. It records in perfect 24bit stero format. Now, i run Sonar 3.0 producers edition and when it pops up it says 'ur sound card does not allow stereo format.. the settings will be set to mono'. I went to cakewalks website and it supports my ty Creative Audigy LS soundcard. What settings am i doing wrong? How can one program record in stereo and Cakewalk tell me it only records in mono... AHH! any help would be greatly apprecited guys.

I've never run into this problem, but I would say you can either:

try reinstalling Sonar

play around with the audio interface settings (try turning ASIO on)

or you can get a better soundcard..

If your current drivers don't really work (including your ASIO drivers...if Creative developed ASIO drivers for that card) then you might want to check out the Kx drivers, they will almost certainly make sure you have at least 2 channels.
