Anyone familiar with the ecler concept series?

Specific questions:
What is the difference bewteen the concept2 and concept3?
From what i can gather i think the CF on the concept3 is higher quality w/ an adjustable curve. Since i rarely, if ever, use the CF this isn't important to me. If the VFs are the same on either, then there is no advantage to go with the 3 since i'm not a turntablist.
Plus the concept2 will go perfectly w/ my 1210s.

Difference in quality between the concept and smac line?
I really want a SMAC Pro 30 but am having trouble getting one. I will hold out though if its worth the extra 180.00 bucks. I am mainly concerned with the qualiy of the sound and EQs between the two mixers.

Any input would be appreciated. Have many people heard/used these mixers yet?

One of the most underrated mixers on the market.

These are so stable; great design; I recommend them over nearly everything even if they might lack in the effects domain to some peoples liking :p

I slammed it with the smac pro 30 in the past and I want to buy one again.

Now in regards to the Concept 2 & 3 I don't really know. Appears the "3" might have vca faders when the "2" does not. But don't quote me on that; They're hard to find info on as you may have noticed

i have an ecler smac pro30 right now. sound is so crisp. so clean. kills cut fully. faders are nice and smooth. i just love it.. haha. there are no effects, but who cares! it has effects send so if u ever feel like adding an external one, there's no problem. i've never tried the concept series so i cant have an opinion on that. i ordered my smac pro30 through www.audio-depot.com. i got mine for 359 w/ no tax and free shipping so its a pretty good deal.
